Last day....

I really enjoyed this class. I have learned a lot of things that I didn't know before I attended this class. I really enjoyed everyone's projects. All of them turned out nicely. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Thanks to the professor for teaching me new things.

2 more days to go.....

CAT111 is going to be over in two days. I wish some more of the classmates would upload their project 5 in the critique section so I can comment on them before class ends in two days. Class is almost over....

We have a few more days to go to complete CAT111. I hope everyone is having fun and learning as much as you can. I have really learned a lot from this class. I can't wait till the fall classes start up, but until then I will try to enjoy this very hot weather we are having. The rain today was very nice we needed it very badly. It cooled the heat down a little. Here is a link with some swimming pools that have waterfalls in them Swimming Pools. Check them out. It looks like beautiful artwork to me. Whoever designed some of these pools did a terrific job!! I wish I could have one just like them.

Project 5

Here are some images of my project 5 for CAT 111. I made a swimming pool and put it in Google Earth Africa. One of my follow classmates made me aware of the depth of the swimming pool, because I didn't even take that into consideration when I made the pool. The pool is not deep enough for a diving board. Other than that I think I did a good job on creating a pool, I hope!!!

I am finally done my vector illustration for my art class. I guess when I get used to the adobe illustrator I will be able to draw a lot better. I haven't drawn a picture freehand for over two years I think. I used to draw a lot when I was younger. I forgot how peaceful it made me feel to draw. I think I will start drawing more in the future. The more I practice the better my drawings will be. I think everyone in the class whose illustrator files I seen did a terrific job. I am so glad project 2 is over. Now on to project 3. Good luck all!!

Thumbs

This is a thumb that I am working on in my ART100 class. I am not very artistic and I have no idea what I am doing. I just follow the directions online the best I can. I kind of like this thumb though. It reminds me of a wedding cake with pieces of the cake lined up all around it. The wedding cake is sideways though. I can't wait until this ART class is over.

I am still trying to learn how to trace project 2 part b and I can not figure it out at all. Can anyone help me out? I read the tutorials but I still can't figure it out at all. The pen tool doesn't work right for me. I can't figure out how to trace my picture with it. Everytime I get a few lines going it cuts my picture off.

This is one of my drawn studies for my class project I am working on. It is unfinished. I am now working on part B of this project. As soon as I figure out how to use the software correctly I will finish my project and upload it here. I can't figure out how to work the pen tool in the illustrator correctly. I do not know where to start the pen at and where to end it at. If anyone has any tips for me please leave feebback? I wish I could draw good then maybe it would be easier.
